Following the decisions of the 20th Annual Meeting of WWER Forum, (December, 2013, Kanyakumari, India) two new Working Groups were established: Working Group on Reactor Physics Code verification with Commissioning Data (RPWG) and Working Group on Strengthening Commissioning Program of New WWER NPPs based on commissioning/operating experience (COMMWG).

India will take lead in the COMMWG, Mr. Frederic Lall from the AERB (India), will coordinate the activities of the WG.

The RPWG will be lead by Russia (the nominated coordinator of the WG will be Mr. Oleg Kawun from Scientific and Engineering Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety (SEC NRS).

The mandate for the activities of PSA Working Group (PSAWG) was prolonged for the next 3 years by the WWER Forum members. Coordinator of the PSAWG will be Armenia supported by Finland.
Information on plans and the first activities of the new Working Groups will be presented at the next WWER Forum in Helsinki, Finland, in June 2014.
